Things are still going fairly well here. Amy got a little uncomfortable a few times yesterday. Her back was a little sore from the bed, so it took her a while to a find a comfortable position to rest.  She felt pretty nauseous at one point last night, but they gave her some medicine and that seemed to make her feel better and be able to get some rest.  She received the third and final dose of one chemo drug and will continue to get the other drug for a few more days. We will continue to try and keep everyone up to date on all the happenings.

  1. Hi Amy and Michael,

I just wanted you both to know that I have been thinking about you and praying for you both since I heard about what is happening. I am so sorry that this is happening, but like so many of your family and friends have said, God is still answering prayers EVERYDAY!!!!! I am looking forward to the day that we hear that you are absolutely fine!!!!!!In the meantime, try to stay positive. Enjoy your quiet time with each other. I am sure that you have not had too much of that over the past few years with all the classes that both of you have been taking. I will be checking every day on your progress. Please take care!

  2. Hi Amy and Michael,

I go to church with several of your family members. I am praying for you and your family!!!

    One of my favorite verses:
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16

From what I have read on your blog, you are being showered with prayers!!

    In Christ's love,
    Mindy Hemp Gardzinski

  3. Amy and Boo-

EVERYONE is pulling for you. I hope there is comfort in knowing that. God is listening to all of the prayers for you. I don't know of any more words of encouragement to offer to you all besides what others have already posted. Just know that my family and I (Cynthia Philip and Rachel) are praying and thinking of you. Stay strong Amy knowing that there is a lot of strength behind you.

    God Bless,

    -Doug Rodes

  12. Good morning! Just checking in to send some "e" hugs and smiles your way. I've spent enough time at the hospital to know that even with great staff and wonderful care, it can be a scary place. Please rest assured that your family, friends and lots of people you don't even know are praying for peace, comfort and healing.
    Love & Blessings,
    Michele and Lynn

Savannah and I were up early this morning making your suncatchers. I hope you are able to hang them in the window there. We are constantly asking about you and thinking of you. Most everyone tells us how strong you both are. We will continue to send strength, love, healing, especially comfort and any thing else we can think of your way. We love you and feel that you and your family are part of our own.
Thinking of you all the time,
