Amy is still feeling very good. She is a little tired this morning. She felt a little nauseous in the middle of the night last night for a couple of minutes, so she took some medicine as a precaution. This tends to make her very tired. She still has not had a fever since Wednesday afternoon and the rash she had looks like it is starting to go away. The doctor said he would like to keep her in the hospital at least through the weekend and then maybe early next week she will be able to get out for a little bit. Her blood counts are looking great and the doctors seem very happy with the way things are going.

  1. Ames,

I'm happy to hear that you're doing well with the treatment and that given the circumstances, things are overall going well!

Miss you, and thinking of all of you!

    Love,

  2. Hi Amy & Michael,
Now we know that Michael can't leave you at night, that "slumber party" you and your mom had last night caused the nausea!!Oh, well, I guess it was fun while it lasted.
Punky left this morning and Dwight is coming this evening to get Pop, so I don't know when they will leave for KY. I'll be by myself again, but maybe I'll be able to come soon to see you, if your schedule allows it. I can't be gone too long, Roscoe and Winslow depend on me, too.
I love you and am so glad you are feeling better.

  4. Amy,
You may not know me very well, but I have known you since you were a little girl. Your mom taught me in school and had an impact on my life. I have known your dad and grandparents as well. I just want you to know that you can and will beat this. You are a strong young lady with lots of drive and fight. Your family is 100% behind you, and they will be there when times are rough. My family is praying for you each and everyday, we look forward to the day when you are stronger. God Bless You.

  13. Hey Amy and Michael,
We just got home from church and eating at the Bull Pen. Gotta love that place! Amy, your grandmother gave the chruch an update and it is so good to hear that you are doing so well. I also talked to Kelly a long time on the phone yesterday and she explained how wonderful you did through your chemo. She said she had never seen someone have the strength that you have had through all of this. Keep it up that is what it is going to take. We continue to pray for you and Savannah talks and thinks about you all the time. You were lifted up again in church. The love was everywhere this morning. You could feel it in the air. We hope that it came over your way and you felt it too.
We are sending you all love, hugs, and comfort.

  14. Hello Amy and Family!
Please know that Booth and I have been praying for you daily! I was a little slow with the blog thing, but finally got it figured out :) I was thinking of you the other day and the Lord directed me to Psalm 121. It is so cool because this is the verse that we have been praying over you this past week and will continue to pray. I love it when it says in verse 3 "He who keeps you will not slumber" That is his promise to you that he is with you and he is always watching over you and never sleeps! May God Bless you today and the days to come!

    Much Love!
    Laura and Booth
