Not much to report today. Things are proceeding as expected.  Amy has been very tired today.  She has been sleeping most of the day.  This is pretty typical for this type of treatment once your blood counts get this low.  The good thing is that she has not had any nausea today.  Hopefully she will continue to rest well throughout the night.

Didn't get to see and talk with you today, but we got to visit with Michael and your mom and dad.

We were glad that you were resting well with no discomfort. We are so very proud of you and Michael of how strong you are, and that tells us your going to beat this.

Hope you get a good nights rest. See ya in a few days.

    Love ya both

  10. Good morning. Just thought I would drop you a few lines. I have been reading a good book about Psalm 23. It talks about how we are God's flock and he knows each one of us. God knows the story of each of his sheep. He knows the suffering and caresof each sheep. Cling tight to him and he will lead you to greener pastures of comfort and wellness. We love you both.

  13. Amy,
My mom, the girls and I went to the Rock Church this morning and everyone there just lifted you up. I hope you could feel it. The church was just filled with love for you and your family. Gene told us how much compassion Michael has for you and how wonderful that must be to have someone like him by your side. Savannah has decided that she will be sending more fairies. She has a whole collection that can do some pretty amazing things, so it is hard to tell which ones you will be seeing. :) Her forest fairies are the most fun she says and you will be needing some of that soon. She really cares about you and thinks about you often like the rest of us. Get some good rest so those blood cells can do what they are supposed to. We love you.

  15. Amy and Michael,
A friend of ours left this verse in Dad's hospital room so I thought I'd pass it along.
"For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." Isaiah 41:13
We're praying for you guys. Hang in there! :)

  16. Michael & Amy,
I missed seeing an update today, but did talk to your dad and he updated me. So glad you got some blood to help with your energy level, and that you were able to walk out in the hall, and to eat a little. That sounds so good. Just hang in there, things are sounding better. Love you both lots. Grandma
