First Treatment

Amy started her first treatment last night around 11.  She will constantly be given one of the chemo drugs for 7 days. Also for the first three days she will also be receiving another drug as well. So far she has been feeling okay. We walked around a little this morning and she started to get a little nauseous but they gave her some medicine and she has been resting well since.  She is just about to eat lunch, so she seems to be feeling okay.

  1. Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. If you need anything - a place to stay for family and friends - please let us know, we're not far away - only in Waynesboro.

  3. Amy,
I dont know you, however I don know your Dad and Mom. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. God has a plan for all of us and he will use you as one of his vessels as long as we are faithful. I pray that God gives you peace during this trial. He is in control and will take care of you. I also pray for your husband and family that are being effected during this stressful time. God Bless you and your family.

  4. Big D! Amy! What can I say, I wish I was close enough to travel down and visit you guys. I can't imagine how rough this must be on both of you - but I'm comforted in you having each other. Please continue to keep us updated and if I get a break from coaching wrestling I'll try to make it down one of these weekends.

  5. Amy, I want you to know we are thinking about you often. I am quiet like you are so we did not talk that often but you are on my mind constantly. I know everything will work out ok. We love you!!

  6. Amy,
Mom (Carolyn Boothe) gave me this web site to check up on you from time to time. You probably don't remember me, but your family is very dear to me and I just wanted you to know that I have put you on our prayer list at church, and we will continue to pray for you during this trying time. God is with you every second! Don't forget that you have many people around you who love you and lovingly put their arms around you.

    God Bless You!
