Guess What! I'm OUT of the hospital!!!! Hopefully this time it will be for good. I told Michael today that this feels like the first time I've been "home" because I felt so lousy the last two times they released me.

My sodium level came up a little this morning so the doctors were comfortable letting me go - although it still needs to come up more. The only two things I have to complain about (which Michael and mom have heard a lot of) are my mouth sores and fatigue. The mouth sores are better but still hurt, especially when I eat. For now, I will go to the clinic everyday for blood work and to get anything I need through IV.

As always, we can't thank you guys enough for all the support,

  1. Our Dear Amy,
Welcome HOME! You sound so good. I can see that smile on your face now.... BEAUTIFUL!
    Our prayers continue.
    Love you,

  2. Great news! You sound so good! We're glad you're feeling better! Enjoy yourself!

  3. Whoopee! So glad you are home and sounding so good. Hopefully those mouth sores will clear up soon, and you will also stay OUT OF THAT HOSPITAL! I know you are tired of it.
    Love you!

  4. What progress you've made! We're so happy that you've done so well with the transplant...just as we knew you would! Keep getting better and better, and we'll keep the prayers coming!

  5. Hope your visit to clinic wasnt too long today. Glad you are "home", sure everyone rests better there. Make sure Mom comes in every couple of hours to take temp, etc. like the nurses!! Rest up and keep getting better. Love ya, Genie and Eddie

  6. Amy,
Hurray for you! I pray that you've got the worst behind you! And I continually pray for your healing. Here's hoping that you are slowly but surely on your way to eating your favorite junk food -- that tastes like it's supposed to taste!
    Love to you & Michael!
