Hi everyone! It's Tuesday so I'm finished with my chemo and have had 4 radiation treatments thus far. The radiation makes me very tired and somewhat nauseus but they have put me on a new anti-nausea drug called Amend which seems to be helping. I'm still eating and have only gotten sick once so that is a blessing to me. Hopefully these next few days will go as well as the first few have. I'm not feeling wonderful but it's much better than I felt during my second induction treatment.

Thanks for all the prayers, support, comments, and all the stuff I cannot think of right now,

  1. HI Amy,
YOU are a real trooper. I love reading your entries because you are always teaching us something.... just like the excellent teacher you will be when this journey is completed.
Now you have another reason to hurry and get well. Teagan will be waiting for you to hold her.
Our prayers continue you to be lifted for all of you there including your doctors.
    Be strong, young lady!
    Lots of Love,

  2. Amy,
God is with you -- and everyone is praying for you and loving you from afar!!
You can do it! God can do it!
God's blessings upon you and Michael and your mom & dad!
    Love, Lisa

  3. Amy,

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you keep pressing on through these difficult times. Your confidence and perseverance are an inspiration to us all. I'm moving to Durham on June 26th and will be very close to the Medical Center so if there is anything at all that I can for you or Boo please don't hesitate to ask. Take care and God bless!

    Wes Matheny

  4. Thinking of you today with lots of love and prayers. Just wanted to share this awesome verse from Isaiah 64:4. (TLB) "For since the world began no one has seen or heard of such a God as ours, who works for those who wait for Him!" Hang in there through the waiting!

  5. It has all been said but I will repeat their wishes. You are doing a fantastic job. Your mind and attitude are in excellent shape. Hang in there.
