Hi everyone. As planned I was released from the hospital today and am back at the apartment. The week went extremely well considering my past rounds. I am having a little nausea but it seems like it is being controlled my the anti-nausea medicines well.

Tomorrow I go to the clinic for a shot to help my blood counts recover more quickly. I am also going to have lots of "baseline" tests that they do before a bone marrow transplant to be able to track any damage done to my body from radiation/chemo/or the transplant itself. It will be a long day but they are all things that need to be done.

Wishing you all a good week,

Amy

  1. Hi Amy,
YOU are an amazing young lady. Your positive attude serves as a blessing for all of us. I know you are happy to be back at the apartment with Michael. I heard a little 4 year old include you in her badtime prayers last night without any prompting from anyone. She is one of many of us who send our prayers and love to you.
    Continue to stay strong.
    Love,
    Sherry and Maddi

  2. Amy, One more treatment closer to the transplant. We're so proud of you and Michael and the way you have handled all of this. Even prouder that you are willing to help others out in their fight by joining in the research program. We know you wouldn't think any other way.

We're looking forward to having your grandma for a visit this week. We won't be doing to much shopping and visiting that we won't still be keeping up with your progress.

    Keep up the good fight.

We love you, Tommy and Patty
