Big thanks for all the prayers that were sent up for me tonight! By the sound of it God had a lot of people to listen to. I feel so very blessed by each and every one of you. When I was diagnosed in January of 2009 I was blown away by the immediate support I received. Knowing it would be a long road I thought that support would wain over time. Now it's been an even a longer road than originally anticipated and all of you (and probably even more) are still right here with me. For that I am so very grateful.

Love and thanks to all,
Amy

  1. What a priviledge to be part of the prayer time tonight. God never gets tired of hearing from us, so I am sure he was very pleased with everyone tonight. We all love you and we won't let up our support.
    Love you much,

  3. HI Amy,
I do not know you, but unfortunately I do know AML. And have the privelege of knowing Therese and Dr. Rizzieri, they cared for my father. Just wanted to let you know that I live in Beckley, WV and my cousin found out about your blog and the prayer last night, so we posted it on our facebook pages and several additional folks, including us were sending up those prayers. I truly hope that God intervenes for you soon and I know from experience what a blessing Dr. Rizzieri and Therese and the clinic staff is. God bless you and good luck.

  5. Amy,
I wanted to share something with you that happened to me that night. Just as I started praying, the phone rang. I looked to see who was calling, thinking that I would just call the person back. It happened to be Ben. The Mama instinct took over, and I answered it. He asked what I was doing, and I said I was praying for you. His answer was, "ohh, the time caught up with me, so we can just pray here together." That is what we did. So I figure, we covered all areas between Alleghany County, VA and Charlotte, NC. I just thought I'd let you know how you have inspired many people.
    We love you,
    Sherry

  6. I don't usually comment twice on the same blog, but I wanted to let you know that after I had prayed for you Thurs., I also prayed on the phone with a friend for you. This was wide spread, many strangers included. PTL
    Love you!

  7. Dale and I went to Lynchburg Thursday to see his cousin who'd had surgery and ran in the Lexington WalMart on our way home. That's where we were at 9:00, so that's where we prayed together for you. No way to know how many people were lifting you up in prayer at the same time, but I'm sure it was in the hundreds, maybe thousands. You are loved!!

  8. Just wanted to let you know that people stopped me at school all day to tell me exactly what they were doing when they prayed for you on Thursday. It was really neat. I think of it in terms of you being a little pebble and think of all the many ripples you have created.

Teagan translation: Hey it's Teagan. I had a really wild night last night. I was on a sugar bender. Mom and Dad made the big mistake of letting me eat ice cream from sweet things in Lexington after 8:30 last night. I was sitting up in the bed falling over just to get a laugh. Loved the ice cream! Loved the sugar rush! Can't wait to do it again. Oh, forgot to mention. I am almost walking, wait til Mom and Dad have to chase me around. Mom could use the extra exercise, have you seen her butt lately, it looks like she has camped out at sweet things. PLEASE Don't Tell Her I Said This. Can't bite the hand that feeds you. Well gotta go, too many things to get into, too little time. Love you cuz, Teegee.

Hey I think my computer time was just hijacked. That kid is just too cute for her own good. Well take care, love to all. Joleen
