The big news for the day is that Amy was released from the hospital this afternoon. Her white blood cell counts have come up a good bit so they felt comfortable releasing her. We are not really sure what will happen next. We are waiting to hear from the doctors early this coming week. Depending on how things go with the donors, Amy could either be heading soon for the bone marrow transplant or she may end up having to have another chemo treatment (although if that is needed it should not be as tough as the past two).

You have done so well, been so brave, and fought such a good fight. We are all still holding you both up in prayer, and God is blessing.

  8. Amy, so glad to hear you are out of the hospital! Must be nice to finally be home, or what will be your home for a while. I'm so happy God has blessed you with a donor and with good cell counts in the marrow! Now it's time to relax and try to build your immune system back up. Take it easy and feel better soon. I'm glad that Tussionex helped your cough, its the best thing in the world for it. Every time I get a bad cold or cough thats what they give me and it's a lifesaver :) Lots of love!
