Amy has been pretty worn out the past couple of days. She had also been having quite a bit of nausea. They have been good about trying to keep her nausea under control. The medicine that seems to works best makes her rather tired, so she spends most of her days sleeping. The last dose of chemo was finished yesterday around lunch time. Now that the chemo is over, her blood counts should start to recover and she should start to feel better. We will continue to keep you up to date on any major happenings.

  3. Hey Michael & Amy,
So glad it is Friday for you and that chemo is past. Now the rebounding can start. I am sure you are still very weak, so just take it easy. I hope it won't be long until you can go to the apartment, for the first time! It won't take long for you to feel at home.
    Love you much,
    Grandma Vess

  5. Hey Amy,
Rebound, Girl, Rebound! Sounds like a basketall game, doesn't it? AND we KNOW you will be the winner. :) With this round over, it's time to feel better and go HOME with Michael. Doesn't that sound good!?! We are keeping you lifted in our prayers, Amy.

  7. Good morning Amy and all-

Well Aunt Mary Beth was with you in spirit yesterday-I have been out since Tuesday with sinus, bronchitis etc-my doc gave me a cough syrup and neither he nor the literature with it emphasized the side effects-I took the small dose at work friday and within 20 minutes I was as nauseated as I could be-drove home and had to pull over twice....ran to my med cabinet and
was never so happy to see that old finegren(sp?)I took so much of in chemo-I did not know if it was expired but who cares-I took it anyway-put me in lala land for a good while

I am hoping that today finds you getting stronger and maybe even eating a bit-one of my favorite things was the Chick Fil A soft ice cream cones

Hope Gus is coming back soon-have a peaceful weekend!

Love to all and looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks
