Some good news is that the chemo pill and and the Hydrea were keeping my white count down. Yesterday my white blood count with 8.7, which is very good. Pray that it doesn't take a sharp turn around though!
In non-health related news I actually have worn my wigs ! It helps that it has been cooler this week. This is a vanity thing having a wig out it public makes me me feel more normal.
Hope you all have a fun and safe 4th of July,
Amy

Hey Amy. Glad things are getting cooler there and you are able to wear your wigs. I bet you look very pretty in them. We totally enjoyed the visit with you guys a few weeks ago. My days have been very busy chasing Teagan from room to room. She is a super fast crawler and she can walk with the help of something to hold her up. She seems to be getting braver. I hope she walks before I go back to school so I don't missing seeing her. She can now point to all of the deer in our living room and say buck. The craziest thing happened the other day. She kept pointing at one particular one and saying buck, buck, buck. About two hours later, he fell off the wall. Spooky huh? Well I better go for now. Take care and keep cool. Love you guys down in NC. Love Joleen
ReplyDeleteThose mouth sores hurt me! I can't take them away, but I would if I could, and all the other nasty things along with them. Bless Dr. Rizzieri's heart, he is trying so hard. I am sure he is going to come up with something to help you. It is hot here today, but a nice day with two visiting sisters here.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July, God bless America. I love you! Grandma
My vanity demands decent teeth...and then my hair. So glad that you found not one but two pieces that helps YOU feel beautiful. Hope you have a fantastic 4th with your family. Love to all.........Lesa
ReplyDeleteSending you wishes for a wonderful holiday weekend with your family in Durham. The heat and humidity have returned, I'm afraid. I keep telling myself it is July after all and there's no foot of snow outside. Praying for good numbers and a chemo that works without producing the mouth sores. We love you and keep you in our prayers. Hey to Michael, Mom and Dad, too. ( I sound like Gomer, don't I?)
