More of the same seems to be the theme of my last few posts and nothing changes in this post. I went to the clinic yesterday the good news is my sodium seems to be consistently normal (so I got to stop taking one of my medications). My magnesium is still low - they gave me 6 grams over 5 hours today and I didn't feel near as bad as I did Saturday. It still makes me hot but it's tolerable.
I also have an infection (maybe an ingrown toenail) in my toe. It was kind of a weird moment when mom called this weekend and asked me how I was and my response was "My toe hurts." It's amazing to think of all that I've been through and now I'm complaining about something as small as a toe. It reminded me that the hard stuff is behind me. However, they put me on an antibiotic for a week just to be extra careful.

A toe may be a little thing, but it sure can cause a lot of pain. I'm hoping the antibiotic will clear it up and everything else will clear up as well. You just hang in there, the BIG stuff may be behind you, and you still have a few months to go, but you are doing just great and the blessings keep coming. Love you,

The thought of an ingrown toenail can give me nightmares, so I'm praying yours heals quickly and gives you no more trouble. But I thank the good Lord that everything else is going so well. You are a real live, walking, talking, breathing testimony and blessing! You've certainly blessed me! Love ya!

ReplyDeletehello...it's kate....I know you haven't heard from me in a while but no excuses....just been crazy with all the kids back in action :) Just wanted to let you know that we are always praying for you. I told Maddi the other day I had to go to the hospital and work and she asked if I was going to see her 'friend Amy?' I thought it was precious and was so glad to tell her that you have been out of the hospital for quite sometime :) Anyway...take care of the toe and we love you....The Brownz :)
